This unit is big and rich functionality. The GPS is always on site and have free updates for life of the appliance. HD Traffic is a must if you live in a big city or visit one regularly. It 'true that the POI is a bit' thin, but can be updated with the JVC software then you can run on your PC. Excellent sound quality with the factory speakers is much stronger than the production unit. It also works fine with my phone. Important phone numbers, and remember them later.
Two things to keep him to get five stars. The most important is that there is only a front USB port, no one behind. If your iPod or music device supports Bluetooth stereo, you are good, but for the rest of us, there will be a clutter of cables from the front. The other issue is the cover of the album is very uneven because of the display floor. The unit is not exactly a deal breaker, but others in the price range are more screens.
